Tenant Vacate Info
Vacating:
Tenants are required to give 2 weeks notice in writing (RTA Form 13) prior to vacating.
Notice of Intention to Leave Form 13Broken Lease:
Under extreme circumstances a lease can occasionally be broken. There are penalties involved with this and at the end of the day the resident is ultimately responsible for the lease until a new and approved resident is found.
Final Inspection:
Rent will be charged until the day keys are returned. Please allow 2 working days for final inspection.
Carpets:
You are required to have carpets professionally steam cleaned when vacating the premises. You will need to produce a receipt to verify when you hand your keys in. Dry cleaning or hiring one of the machines from Coles and doing it yourself is not acceptable.
Pest Control:
You are required to have the property professionally fumigated on vacating if you had pets at the property.
A Receipt is to be provided on returning keys.
